Announcement of incoming Chief Executive Officer
Volunteering Victoria is pleased to announce the appointment of Thu-Trang Tran as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), commencing 16 January 2023.
Thu-Trang brings extraordinary passion for volunteering and social justice, most recently through her expertise and experience as CEO of Volunteer West. She also serves as a Commissioner to the Victorian Building Authority and the Victorian Liquor Commission; and has extensive public policy experience, having worked with the Department of Justice and Regulation. Thu-Trang has a Master of Law, and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Through the breadth of her experience, Thu-Trang has established strong political and stakeholder networks, which will greatly support Volunteering Victoria’s advocacy and engagement work. Her perceptive leadership and strategic capabilities will be influential in continuing the positive collaborations with key partners, members, and stakeholders, to promote, value and support effective volunteering across Victoria.
