Volunteering Victoria held its 2021 AGM on Thursday 25 November 2021.
The event, held via Zoom, was well attended by a large number of Volunteering Victoria members and supporters.

The Great Deliberate: The ongoing impacts of the pandemic on the volunteering sector has created many challenges. However, transformative opportunities for a sustainable sector have become available as we look ahead into the future. The Great Deliberate engaged and inspired audiences as both teams explored the challenges and opportunities in a post-COVID world and considered “Has COVID cancelled volunteering”?
Launch & panel discussion:
The online event was opened by Volunteering Victoria Chair, Bronwen Clark and followed by a Welcome to Country by Boonwurrung Senior Cultural Officer, David Tournier. The AGM was followed by The Great Deliberate which was moderated by Geraldine Quinn, Rock Cabaret Writer-performer.
Speakers from the affmirmative team included Hon Dr. Andrew Leigh MP and Angela Seach, Associate Director at Worklogic. Speakers from the negative team included Celia Tran from the Victorian Multicultural Commission and Volunteering Tasmania CEO, Dr. Lisa Schimanski.
