Congratulations to the outstanding volunteers and organisations shortlisted for the 2024 Volunteering Awards.
The awards recognise the incredible contributions of volunteers and community organisations across the state.
Following a record number of nominations, this year’s finalists showcase the many ways people and organisations are making a positive impact in their communities.
There are 30 volunteers shortlisted across four categories including:
- Young Volunteer – for volunteers who are 25 years and under.
- Volunteer Commitment – for dedicated, passionate volunteers.
- Volunteer Leadership – for volunteers who lead, organise and inspire others.
- Volunteer Impact – for volunteer innovators and hard workers.
There are 20 volunteer organisations shortlisted across four categories including:
- Inclusive Volunteering – for organisations that show diversity and inclusion.
- Volunteering Partnerships – for organisations that work well with others. This may be with other groups, businesses, or the community.
- Volunteering Innovation – for organisations that are innovative and adaptable.
- Grassroots Volunteering – for small organisations making a big difference.
