Volunteer Management Activity Review
For over fifteen years, many Australian organisations delivering volunteer support services have received federal government funding through the Volunteer Management Program (VMP) – including fifteen organisations in Victoria. The Department of Social Services has engaged mpconsulting to examine the appropriateness, effectiveness and efficiency of the program, as well as its value and the role of volunteer support services. Based on their findings, the review team will make recommendations for the future.
Thank you to all who participated in the review of the Volunteer Management Activity (VMA – formerly known as the Volunteer Management Program) in Melbourne on 13 February. If you weren’t able to participate and even if you did, there is now a survey to gain feedback on volunteering and volunteer management. We are keen to hear from volunteers, volunteer involving organisations and from organisations providing volunteer support services.
The survey can be accessed at the following link:
The survey will be open until 31 March 2018.
Please call 03 9347 2387 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or difficulties accessing the survey.
