Have Your Say: Engagement of the Multicultural Community in Volunteering

Volunteering Victoria – in partnership with  North Melbourne Language and Learning (NMLL), Melbourne City Council, Kensington Neighbourhood House, Carlton Neighbourhood and Learning Centre and the Centre – has been consulting with our multicultural community about their experience of volunteering in the community and consulting service providers of their experience with engaging the CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) community as volunteers in their volunteer programs.

In addition to the consultations we are looking for managers of volunteers to take the time time to complete a survey to provide us with greater insights around the barriers and enablers for your service to engage with the CALD community in your volunteer programs. The survey will take you about 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey results, along with the results from the consultations will be collated into a final report and available on the partners’ websites and be publicly accessible.

The survey link below will be active from Wednesday 8 March until 5pm Friday 17 March.

The main aim of the consultations and survey is to gather information in order to support the multicultural community with accessing volunteer opportunities as well as working with services providers to see how we can increase access to volunteering opportunities for our multicultural community.

We thank you in advance for sharing your insights around engaging the culturally diverse community in volunteering and appreciate the time you have taken to complete the survey.

Please feel free to share this email amongst your networks and encourage them to participate in the this survey.
