Volunteer Position Description form - download, complete and send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteering Victoria manages an online volunteer recruitment database for members to advertise for volunteers. Your advertisements will also appear on GoVolunteer and Seek Volunteer, meaning three times the exposure for your role.
Who can advertise for volunteers?
Full members of Volunteering Victoria have unlimited access to advertise for volunteers through our website. Organisations must be a current member and have Public Liability and Volunteer (Personal Accident) insurance. Not a member? Join Volunteering Victoria now
How long will it take for my ad to appear online?
Within 1-3 business days.
Once the position is loaded, simply search for it to check how your ad appears to volunteers (enter the postcode – it’s quickest).
How can volunteers contact me about the role?
The database allows volunteers to generate an Expression of Interest which is sent directly to you. Volunteering Victoria is not involved in the process of screening or assessing volunteers. It is up to you to follow up with applicants as per your normal recruitment processes.
How do I amend or edit an existing ad?
Please send through the changes to email@example.com and we will update the ad for you
How do I remove the ad?
In the original form there is an option to have an expiry date for the ad. If you wish the ad to come down earlier than this date, or the position has been filled, please let us know and we will remove the ad for you.
Are you looking for teams of volunteers?
If your organisation is after a team of volunteers, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We work with corporates who are looking to place teams of employees to volunteer. Members of Volunteering Victoria have priority access to our corporate bookings.
