This interactive workshop will provide participants with a sound understanding of best practice volunteer management. The following areas will be covered: advertising and recruitment, induction, ongoing support, supervision and recognition, safety and risk management, through to the exit stage. Participants will use the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement to guide program development and best practice, helping them to build a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive volunteer program.

- Understand how to set the scene for effective volunteer involvement
